I have been teaching at Taylor Street School for ten years. This will be
my first year in first grade. I have been a second grade teacher for many
years. Prior to Taylor Street School, I taught in a variety of
preschool and elementary schools, taking time off to be a stay at home mom for
many years.
I have three sons ages 22, 20, and 15. My oldest son, Andrew is a brand new
English teacher at a nearby high school. My middle son, Paul attends Rider as
University. Paul is a journalism major with a strong interest in music
journalism. My youngest son, Tom is a freshman at Warren Hills
High School. We have three energetic Labrador retrievers, Gidget,Larue
and Onyx. Mr. Kaspereen says that three labs are enough and I shouldn't even
THINK of a fourth. We also have a water crazy cat named Maude. She agrees
with Mr. Kaspereen that three dogs are MORE than enough.
Growing up with seven brothers and being the mother of three sons, I have
become a big sports fan. My favorite sport is hockey and of course, I am a
huge fan of the NJ Devils. My year is divided into two seasons: hockey season
and non hockey season.
We have class pets named Bob. Do you know what kind of pet The Bobs are?
(Yes, they are all named Bob.) If you don't know who The Bobs are, you'll
have to wait until school begins to meet them. They get lonely over the
summer and can't wait to meet everyone in September.
