I am married and have two children, Rachel and Nicholas. I graduated from
Douglass College with a double major in French and Spanish. To enhance my studies,
I completed my undergraduate degree in Avignon, France. Once I started teaching, I
started a graduate program and obtained my Masters in Education through Marygrove
College. I have recently completed my second Masters in Technology in the Classroom
through Walden University.
Teaching French is my passion. I am always looking for ways to make my classes
more interesting for my students. I believe that the time I spend with them is so
important. As a teacher, it is my goal to touch their lives in a positive way. To quote
Oliver Wendell Holmes, "A moment's insight is sometimes worth a lifetime's
experience".
My mission is to treat my students with respect through my actions and words.
I will have high expectations and strive to challenge them to be creative, independent
thinkers and cooperative learners. My lessons will incorporate the unique learning
style of each student.
Parents will feel involved and be invited to my classroom.
I will be available to my students as a resource and asset and demonstrate a
personal commitment to the academic success and well-being of all students.
