How much time will my child spend studying Soc. Studies?

Your child should expect two homework assignments per week, which should 
take about 15 to 20 minutes.  Additionally, you should be observing your child reading 
over the text or classroom notes prior to assessments.

How can I help my child?

You can check the adgenda book daily.  You may also want to help your child prepare 
for a test/quiz by preparing flash cards or orally establishing understanding.

How are the students graded?

Tests count as 50%, quizzes are 25% and homework/class participation count as 25%.

When can my child get extra help?

I am available every day before school without an appointment. I am at school by 7:20. I am also 
available after school by appointment. Lunch work sessions for seventh grade are also available.
