La Maestra

I am a 2005 graduate of Rutgers University- Rutgers College. Here, I earned my
BA in three and a half years in Italian, Political Science, and Spanish. (Yes,
it's true, I had three majors!) I also studied abroad in Urbino, Italy in 2003
for six weeks to enhance my studies. After graduating, I continued to take
classes towards my teaching certifications in Spanish and Italian. I plan to
further my education and pursue a masters degree in the near future.

The 2008-2009 school year marks my fourth year in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood
District, and my third year at Terrill Middle School! I am also the advisor
for the Italian Club at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time with my
enormous family and with friends. I recently traveled to Spain, and I have
visited Italy ten times now!! I look forward to sharing my knowledge and
experiences about the Italian culture and language in the classroom! A presto!
