What do I do if I forgot my homework/assignment in school?

If you forgot a book or papers in school you have some options. First try calling a neighbor, friend, or
homework buddy to see if you can borrow the book. If borrowing is not an option try emailing Miss
Findlay. If you can not complete the assignment make sure you sign the homework journal first thing
the next day and make the assignment up the next night.

What if I am absent from school?

Our classroom recorder will be recording what you miss throughout the school day. When you return to
school, go through the folder and ask the recorder or Miss Findlay any questions you have. See Miss
Findlay to figure out a good time for make up work to be handed in, and to set up some extra help time
to get you caught up!

What if I need to leave school early?

Your parent or guardian needs to write a note explaining why you need to leave school early. Take that
note straight to the Counseling Office when you come to school. They will give you a pass that you
then give to Miss Findlay. Your parent or guardian will meet you at the designated time in the Main
Office, where they will sign you out.

What if I miss class because of lessons?

It is your responsibility to check with the teacher after your lesson. If there is a test scheduled during
your lesson time it is your responsibility to find a make up time (that day) with your teacher.
