What do I do if I need extra help?

I am available after school to work with students. Please see me and let me
know when you want to stay for help.

What are some keys to success in this class?

Do your best work � show that you have put effort into your assignments and
complete them on time. 
Have a quiet place to do your homework and to study
Keep away from distractions such as TV, Internet and telephones
Stay organized
Work hard � effort counts
Complete all of your homework
See me for extra help if you are having any difficulties or have questions.

What happens if I am absent or miss class?

Please check Mrs. Banks� website and/or call someone in class so that you can
make up the missed work. We can discuss appropriate due dates and expectations
depending on your individual situation. If you missed receiving a worksheet, I
will have it for you when you return to class. Remember, it is your
responsibility to come see me. I will not chase you for missed work.

All teachers have rules and procedures. What are yours?

Be prepared for class: upon arriving in the classroom, hand in your homework,
start working on the �DO Now� and get ready to work, Be respectful of me, of
your fellow classmates, and of our classroom materials at all times � in and
outside the classroom, Show integrity � do not cheat or plagiarize, Take
ownership of your behavior. You are the only one responsible for your actions.
Think about your actions and understand you control whether there will be
positive or negative consequences. Be an active, responsible learner. Work
toward having a great year!
