This is my second year at TMS. Before I became a teacher, I had a career in
publishing and marketing. I
worked for various companies such as Bon Appetit magazine, Time Warner,
Reader's Digest, Hachette Filipacci, Columbia House and American Express.
However, there was something pulling me to the classroom, and here I have
landed, teaching my favorite subject - Language Arts.
What makes this even sweeter is that I am a Fanwood resident and practically
live around the corner from Terrill Middle School!
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy time with my husband Jeff, and our children
Ethan and Mallory. I also enjoy the movies, theatre, reading books,
exercising, and of course shopping!
My mission for my all of my classes is to promote a learning environment which
will provide a stimulating curriculum. I want my students to feel comfortable
sharing ideas and taking risks in their reading and writing. I want my
students to continually improve their reading, writing and grammar skills in a
relaxed, fun environment. Lastly, I want my students to always strive to be
the best they can be!
