Mrs. Traa's class is collecting the following items: Capri Sun, Kool Aid and Honest Kids juice
pouches, Fig Newtons, Chips Ahoy, Oreos and Nutter Butter packages. Instead of the students
throwing these packages/juice pouches in the trash, we can collect them and send them to a company
called Terracycle. Terracycle will make them into tote bags, lunch boxes and pencil cases. The
company will pay us 2 cents per wrapper/pouch. So, we’ll be reducing our trash as well as earning
money.
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! Yeah!

We have sent 1,200 pouches to Terracycle so far!
