Homework

Your child is expected to copy whatever assignments apply to them AND ALL 
of the reminders EVERYDAY. They may not pick and choose what they 
copy into the assignment book. 

Please encourage your child to check their backpack BEFORE they leave the 
classroom at the end of the day. We go to our special and do not return to 
the classroom after that. 

The students should each have at least one phone number for someone in 
the class that they can call if they forget a book. They can even call friends 
from other third grade classes if all else fails. No one is excused from having
 their assignments because they "forgot their book".

Please continue to check your child's assignment book for important 
reminders. Parents should sign the assignment book each night 
AFTER THEY CHECK TO MAKE SURE THAT THE WORK IS COMPLETE. 
PLEASE DO NOT SIGN AN ASSIGNMENT BOOK WITHOUT CHECKING 
TO SEE THAT THE HOMEWORK IS COMPLETED. 

Homework should take no longer than 30 minutes. It is always something that 
we have worked on in class. If you have a problem at home, 
please let me know and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
