Dear fifth grader,
Welcome to fifth grade! I am excited to be starting a new year. You will be
learning and doing a lot of interesting things this year. I look forward to an
exciting new school year.
I will give you a magnet with my phone numbers and
email address on the first day of school. In the meantime if your parents need
to call me tell them to call my cell phone, 226-3349. If you have an email
address please send me an email. If your parents have an email please
ask them to send me an email. I would like to have a list of all
email addresses before school begins. Thank you.
At the bottom of the page is a list of items that you will need for fifth
grade. Try and have them the first day of school. Let me know if you have any
trouble finding any of the items.

School Supplies:
Mrs. Klein’s language arts’ students only:
One 3-subject Notebook
Three folders
3 x 5 File Box with a pack of index cards
A thumb drive on a lanyard
The following are supplies that math students need:
One 3-Subject Notebook
One folder
A zippered pencil holder (they fit better in the desks than the boxes)
2 Glue Sticks
Two Hi-Liters (different colors)
A ruler (with both US standard & metric)
Sharp Scissors
If you want to bring crayons, markers or colored pencils make sure that they
are small enough to fit in your pencil case.
All folders should be different colors or patterns
