Originally from Queens, NY, Mr. Wordsman has been teaching at Valley
Middle School since September of 1993. In addition to his duties as an
8th grade teacher of language arts, English, and reading, Mr. Wordsman directs
the Sixth Grade Drama Club, the Seventh/Eighth Grade Drama Club, and is the
Graduation Coordinator. In addition, Mr. Wordsman coaches the girls'
basketball team (19 seasons, 162-77), and has joined the coaching staff of the
fabled VMS track squad for the 2013 season.
My goal for all my classes is for each student to gain an appreciation as
well as an understanding of the subject matter taught. In addition, I
expect my 8th graders to be well-prepared for High School English.
