| Please remember to sign reading logs and assignment pads nightly. It is
important that they share with you what is going on. They should be able to
do the work on their own. Homework is a review of what is going on in the
classroom. I want them to get used to having nightly assignments. All of
their work will be coming home on Friday. Please look over their papers keep
them, sign and return any tests and initial the sheet in the folder. Thank

We are lucky to have a program on the computer called Study Island. It
is an excellent site for the children to practice taking tests. It corrects
and monitors their progress. We will be working on it in school and it would
be great if they worked on it at home.
Children will be taking accelerated reader tests weekly. The school
library has a large collection for the children to choose from. If you take
a trip to the E.B. Library they also have many books. Please encourage your
child when they read at home to read an accelerated book. Thank you !!
