Dear Parents,
Welcome to school year 2007-2008.
Each year I try to choose one major thing to work on with each child. Last
year all the students worked on listening comprehension because it was an
area of work needed by all. In addition to this one point of interest, I
work on all the student's IEP goals and objectives.
This year, each student will be working on a different major task. The tasks
include spelling; asking for help when needed; answering who, where, what,
when, why and how questions; writing fluency; and study skills.
I will also encourage students to post work on the site as we move through
the year. For confidentiality each student will be referred to by a picture
and nickname. I'll remind students to show you their work when new
postings are made.
