The week of December 4th I will begin the Peace Making Program in grade two. The program is twelve weeks in length. During these twelve weeks I go into the classroom once a week to work with the children on positive social skills. The Peace Making Program teaches these skill through the I-Care Rules. These are the I-Care Rules: 

Throughout the course of the program we will be defining and discussing each of these rules. We will practice listening skills, communication skills, and expressing feelings in an appropriate way. We will also be talking about being responsible for our own behavior and making good choices.
