Birthday Celebrations:
New for 2011 "The Birthday Book Bash"
Birthdays will be celebrated with nonfood items. I would like to request that you choose to donate a book to our classroom library in honor of your child's birthday. I will be writing "Happy Birthday" to your child on the inside and cover and have the class sign the book. I will read the book aloud to the class on your child's birthday. I'm looking forward to making this a very special celebration that the class will look forward to! Summer birthdays may choose any date to celebrate in the classroom.
Pencils: In order to maximize learning time, I ask that students take home their soft pencil case daily and sharpen pencils. Every morning students need to be prepared with at least 4 sharpened pencils.
