Is there anything at home I can do to help my child?

1. Read, read, read. Children learn to read by reading. Depending on your
child's level, you and/or your child can read together. After you read
discuss the story.
2. Help your child read words in their environment.
3. Count things by ones, twos, fives, and tens.
4. Give your child paper to write letters, words, and their name. Have them
make lists or write a letter to someone.
