I have been teaching for 14 years. Twelve of those years have been teaching
this class at Warnsdorfer Elementary School. It has been a wonderful
experience and I truly love teaching the kindergarten through second grade
levels. I hope to share my love of learning with my students. I have been
married 11 years to my husband, Jason. We have a five-year-old daughter
named Emma and a two-year-old son named Ethan whom we adore. We recently
had a baby boy named Adam! We also have a Boston Terrier named Oliver. We
live in Monroe Township, NJ. We love movies, books, the beach, going on
walks, shopping, and going out to restaurants.
My mission as a teacher is to inspire my students to reach their highest
potential. I strive to instill in my students a sense of self-worth which
will enable them to believe that they truly can learn. I want them to feel
special and important not only in my class, but in their mainstream classes
as well. I hope to create a safe class climate where trying your best is
expected and making mistakes gives us an opportunity to learn. My classroom
will be a place where we accept everyone's strengths and weaknesses.
Together
we will create a peaceful learning environment through mutual respect,
cooperation, and understanding.
