FAQFrequently Asked Questions: This page contains answers to common questions of students and parents.
What should I do if I forget my homework? If you can get the materials to complete the assignment from a classmate, that would be great. If you can not, you will make up the work the following day. What will happen if I forget my homework the next day? We will arrange a time for you to make up the work and you will be given a missing assignment note that must be signed by your parent. How much time should I spend reading each night? You should read for 15 minutes each night and record the information on your home reading log. We do have a short "working snack" each day. Your snack should be a small healthy snack that is ready to eat such as a few cookies or some cut up fruit. Please avoid messy snacks or ones that take a longer time to eat. Can we bring water bottles to class? Water bottles are welcome in class on very warm days, typically in the very beginning and the very end of the school year. I will be sure to be informed as to the week's predicted forcast and decide accordingly. An announcement will be made in class and posted with the daily homework assignments. Where can I find information about upcoming tests? I make every effort to announce assessment dates a week ahead of time. A "study guide" will be posted in the study guide section of my Teacher Web Site for your reference. What if I miss a test because I am absent or late? If you are absent on the day a test is given, you will make it up the next day you are in school. If you are late and miss the test, I will make every effort to give you the test during another part of the day. |
