The first Special Education Department coffee talk with director Sharon Oleszkiewicz is on November 12, 2009 at the East Brunswick Public Library in the meeting room area from 6:00-7:00 PM followed by the SEPTA meeting from 7:00-9:00 PM. The topic will be Social/Emotional Behaviors in the Classroom presented by UMDNJ and district consultant psychiatrist, Rajeswarc Uthuswamy. This meeting will focus on how to help children develop in a healthy social & emotional environment and integrate in the diverse district that we live in. This meeting will also assist parents of all populations understand how to support their children and each other. For planning purposes, please let us know if you will be attending the coffee talk, topic meeting if you need childcare and to the social group.
