Who is the Library Club advisor?

   The Library Club advisor is Mrs. McSween, the Warnsdorfer Media Center 
Specialist.

What is the objective of the Library Club?

   My primary emphasis for starting the Library Club is to help students feel 
important and needed.  The objective is to share with each member the many 
facets of the school media center.

What is the Library Club?

   The Library Club is a services club that benefits the library, the school 
program, and the students themselves.  Students have the opportunity to learn 
more about the library operation, read their favorite books, participate in 
Children's Book Week and National Library Week, and given special check-out 
priviledges.  Fifth grade volunteers are recognized with a certificate at the 
end of the school year.  The Library Club members are responsible, 
dependable, and respected by their peers.

How are volunteers selected?

1.  The classrrom teacher and Mrs. McSween must approve the volunteers.
2.  Volunteers should have working knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System
3.  Each member must commit to 20 minutes of service a week.
4.  Each member should be willing to miss one recess a month.
