Did my child return his/her library book?

Library books for grades K-2 are due the following week. Library books for
grades 3-5 are due in 2 weeks. With over 550 students here at Warnsdorfer,
it is impossible to answer this individually. Overdue notices are sent
periodically, so check your child's backpack for notices.

I returned my child's book to the Public Library! Now what?

Relax, it happens all the time. The Public Library will return it to
us. Just have your child tell me and they'll be allowed to borrow a book.

When is a book considered "Lost"?

There is great deal of paperwork involved with a lost book. After a
book is overdue for a month your child will receive an overdue notice. Lost
books are paid for at then end of the school year.

Can I just replace the book with one from a bookstore?

Not really. Our library books are purchased with reinforced bindings and
special computer encoding. While a local bookstore can supply the same
title, it is not suitable for school library use.
