Alternative Assignment:
Many people listen to music as they travel, work, and play. Think about the ways music affects you. Now explain how music affects your life. What is your favorite music genre, artist, or band? Include a section, in your paper, that deals with the historical, sociological and educational issues of your favorite music genre, artist, or band. How does your favorite music genre, artist, or band relate to society in reference to the historical, political, economic, and/or educational influences? How does your favorite music genre, artist, or band's music selections have an influence on today's youth?
Students will submit a 5 page typed paper with a cover page and works cited page by the conclusion of the 33 day cycle.
