The Mini Grant applications are handed out to club/activity advisors and the application is also available online. The advisors are requested to submit their entries by winter break. PTA believes that all children deserve a quality arts education and encourages students to pursue artistic expression through participation in its annual Reflections Program. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students in preschool through grade 12 are encouraged to submit works of art in six arts areas: literature, dance choreography, film/video production, musical composition, photography, and the visual arts (which includes, but is not limited to, art forms such as drawing, painting, printmaking, and collage). In its more than 30-year history, the Reflections Program has encouraged millions of students across the nation and in American schools overseas to explore their artistic talents. The Reflections Program was created in 1969 by then Colorado PTA President Mary Lou Anderson.

PTSA Scholorship
WW-P High School Scholarship Committee is comprised of PTSA representatives from each school in the district. The PTSA representatives meet two or three times in the Spring to receive instruction on the application review process, to discuss the objectives of the awarding the funds, and to receive the anonymous and confidential applications they will be reviewing and 'scoring.' After adequate time for the PTSA representatives to review the applications, and make their recommendations, there is a final meeting to select the recipients. The PTSA scholarship funds are awarded based on financial need or academic merit to graduating seniors in the WW-P school district. PTSA representatives with children attending or anticipating attending HS North will review HS South applications.
Parents of high school seniors in WW-P are not able to serve on the committee.

Spiritwear
The PTSA Spirit Wear Committee coordinates sales of HSN apparel during the school year. Sales are during lunchtimes at school. Volunteers help set up the inventory to be sold, sell the items and pack up when the sale is over. At the beginning of the school year, sales take place during Spirit Week, Back to School night and the week of the North v. South Football game. Additional sales usually occur in early December and again in the spring. In the April/May time frame the committee goes to Community Middle School to provide an opportunity for those students to get HSN items.
