Hi, Hopefully things will slow down this week and our schedule will be back to normal. We are at the end of Unit 3 in Math and the children will be taking their test on Friday. We will also have a spelling and reading test that day. Please continue to practice money and look over their review page for Thursday's night homework. Our Christmas party is on Friday. Please remember to send in your book so Mrs. McAndrew can get it ready for Friday. If you are unable to send in a book please let me know as soon as possible so I can supply one. I don't want any child to be left out of this special event. I will not be here December 21, 22, and 23 due to needed surgery on my knee. I have to be off my feet for at least 2 to 3 weeks. I don't want to miss that much time from school so by having it at this time I will be home on break and don't have to miss more time. The children will be well taken care of and I have some great activities for the substitute to do with the story Polar Express. I will miss them but know they are in good hands. In case I don't see you in school, I hope you have a wonderful holiday with your family and friends. I also hope 2010 brings you only the best and I look forward to spending more time with your child in class. Always know I am here to answer any questions or concerns.
