Presidential Web Quest
A folder will be given only once
Assignment is done in PEN or TYPED
Due Monday  October 26th  Test Grade  

	Outside Folder  
•	Picture with 2 symbols that represent your President and does NOT 
include Presidential seal.
•	Birth date and death  October 12, 1934- December 14, 1996
 	Inside Folder
      Glued neatly   Presidential Worksheet completed in pen
Right side of Folder: (Can be written on lined paper and glued in)   
•	10 facts on accomplishments to include colleges, jobs, awards, books 
written, wars during office, bills passed into law,  etc.  
The 10 facts in order should include
•	 3 -4 facts before becoming President                    
•	Interesting events during Presidency 
•	Find 2 accomplishments that he did after being President

Back: 1 paragraph on Why your president is so noteworthy or memorable. 
Include topic and 3-4 detail sentences and conclusion. This can be written on 
lined paper and glued in.  
EX:      James Smith is a notable president.     He helped solve 
international problems.   He tried to find peaceful ways to solve these 
conflicts.     He helped Egypt and Israel solve their conflict and in doing 
so earned a Nobel Peace Prize.   He also gave the Panama Canal back to Panama 
because he did not think it was right that Roosevelt forced Panama to let the 
U.S. make a canal in their country.   James Smith is notable because of the 
way he acted with peace and sensibility.

	When you write your paragraph do not include your facts from 
worksheet or details from your 10 fact list.  You can explain about  facts  
found in the 10 facts.
