Pre-School Program at John P. Stevens

I am a Family Consumer Sciences teacher at John P. Stevens High School and I run the part time preschool program with my Child Development students.  This program strives to teach the developing children all the rudimentary necessities to be successful in their academic careers.  Our primary goal is for children to learn socialization skills. 

 Fortunately, this preschool program has been active for over 25 years and I wish for it to continue to be a success.  It would be wonderful if you are able to promote this part time program to the parents in your school.  I have attached the application and information for next year.  The parents may also access the full application packet through this link:

2013-2014 PTA Volunteers Needed
A hard copy of the Woodbrook PTA Volunteer Form for the 2013-2014 school year was sent home with your child.  We are currently looking for volunteers for PTA positions.  Please fill out the form and return it to your child's teacher ASAP with your intentions.


Field Day
Woodbrook Field Day will be held on June 7, 2013.  We are looking for volunteers to help organize the event; even from home.  Please contact Lurdes Luis by e-mail at Lopesluis@aol.com if you are interested. 


Woodbrook School Store
The school store is a monthly, fun and interactive way for kids to replenish their school supplies during the school year. It saves parents the midnight run to the store for supplies that have run out. It is also a valuable lesson in money handling. Parent volunteers are vital to make this a success. So, do consider giving us some of your time. Your children will be absolutely THRILLED to see you during school hours.
