Hello Families!
As you know, conference week is coming up. Parents, students and teachers are being asked to
participate in an online survey during conference week. Please allow a little extra time to stop by our
computer lab to complete the parent survey. Staff will be on-hand in the lab throughout conference
days to assist/facilitate a quick, smooth survey experience. Students and teachers will do the online
survey during our regularly scheduled computer lab time. Additionally, there will be a paper survey to
complete. The paper survey consists of rating the attributes of your BES conference experience and can
be completed outside room 102 and deposited in a hallway ballot box.
The Thanksgiving Food Drive ends on Monday, November 16. Third grade is asked to donate from the
following items: cereal, oatmeal, stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, and dried fruit. If you would like to
donate any of these items, send them to the classroom. Many thanks for your generosity.
Finally, don’t forget the BES annual holiday bazaar takes place tomorrow! See you there!
The annual APS family Thanksgiving dinner will take place on Friday, November 20. A bright orange
RSVP was sent home with your student earlier this week. If you plan to attend, let us know by
completing this form and returning it to the school. This will aid our cafeteria staff in planning
appropriately. The scheduled time for our class and families to go to lunch on that day is 12:00 p.m.
Lunch lasts from 12:00 to 12:45 followed by a 30 minute recess time until 1:15 p.m.

* We had our final Junior Achievement lesson with Ms Salem. The topic was banking and saving

*Why is it important to keep track of your money?
Thanks for reading!
