CONFERENCE CONFIRMATION UPDATE

I am sending home conference confirmation letters in your child's red folder today. Please sign to RSVP and return the bottom portion to school. I assigned open slots to parents who did not communicate a desired time. If you need to reschedule, please fill out the bottom portion and return to school. Available times now are on Tuesday, 11/24 at 10:15, 10:40, 11:05, and 11:30 AM.

November 2, 2009 REMINDER: FIELD TRIP TOMORROW
Send a lunch in a sack that can be thrown away. Dress your child for the weather in case it's cold for the morning walk. The following children have parents who are scheduled to chaperone:
Jordan, Taylor, Ari, Keiran, Jackson, Frida, Sean, Maddisyn, Maks, and Sophia. Chaperones, please arrive at 10:15 AM so that we can assign students and be walking by 10:30 AM.
I cannot purchase additional tickets at this time. If you missed the opportunity to chaperone this time, we will be attending another Popejoy Hall Show in the spring.

Costume Parade: Tomorrow at 9:30 is the annual Bandelier Costume Parade. Students are invited to wear their halloween costume to school. Please do not send any toy weapons (sword, gun, knife) to school. I suggest that students wear regular clothes underneath or bring an outfit to change into after the parade.
Field Trip: Our walking field trip to Popejoy Hall is Tuesday, November 3rd. We will be leaving Bandelier at 10:30 AM and returning to school by 2:30 PM. Your child will need to dress for the weather as it takes about 40 minutes to walk to Popejoy. Remember to send a disposable sack lunch, that can be thrown away before we go into Popejoy Hall at 12:00 PM for the show. Please send in $2.00 for your child's ticket to the show.
Chaperones: I will be assigning 2 to 3 children for you to accompany for the field trip. If you are unable to walk with us or attend, please let me know ASAP. The parents who volunteered to chaperone have already paid for their tickets.(You have already paid for an adult ticket and your child's ticket.) The show is sold out now, so no extra chaperones can join us for this trip.
Reminder to send back Conference Time Request Forms. I will be sending confirmation letters with conference times once I have finalized my schedule.
