Class Holiday Party: Look for a flyer coming home in backpacks today asking for contributions. Nicole Jones is coordinating as room parent. We will need food and paper good items to be sent in on Thursday, Dec. 17th. The party will be for the kids only that afternoon. Please contact Nicole with questions at marsmayhem@gmail.com. She may need a few adult volunteers to help with a game or craft.

Check the Links section for websites that support our current Science unit. We are doing an Earth Science unit that is called "Sky". I just added a new link that shows a calendar of the moon phases. Encourage your child to be a skywatcher!

Cold Weather Recess Policy: Students will be given outside recess as weather permits. Please prepare your child by having them wear a coat, hat, and mittens/gloves. At the end of this week students went out for most short recess periods - 10 to 15 min. They had inclement recess inside for lunch recess one day. Help your child dress warmly for outside recess.
