Homework

HOMEWORK KITS: The kits will be sent home on Wed. to be returned the
following Tues. and presented to the class. This is a wonderful opportunity to
have fun learning and doing homework with your child. It also gives students a
chance to share knowledge and learning with their peers. If your child does
not bringa kit home this week then please look for one the following week on
Wed. Only 10 kits go home at a time. The kits are fun and educational. They
can also be adapted for your child's experience. Participation is important
but families will need to decide how much input is needed to complete the task
in the time given. These kits should not be a source of stress! Do as much as
you and your child enjoy. It is easiest to do a little each night. Please make
sure that your child does have some part of the kit completed to share upon
return. Each kit has a set of directions and contents. If the things are lost
or running low please note this somewhere on the kit so that I may replace or
replenish the items needed. If you have any questions or concerns please feel
free to send in a note, call or email me. Most importantly, HAVE FUN!

READING LOG: Fill out 5 slots with name of book read with your child and have
them rate the book with a face (face key on log). When your child has filled a
log send it in and a blank will be sent home to keep logging books read with
your child.
