Welcome to our new librarian, Ms. Jolanta Feliciano, who will begin in August 2009.
The library exists to serve the students and staff of Bandelier Elementary
School, to provide reading for enjoyment and for information, instruction in
information and library skills,and support for teachers and staff. Library
books may also be borrowed by parents and the community.
Ms.Jolanta Feliciano is a full-time certified librarian and Ms.
Anne Sensenig is a part-time library assistant. We both love books, reading,
and music, and strive to provide the best books available and the best library
experience possible to all students and staff. We look forward to this
school year of celebrating the joy of reading, and the search for knowledge.
Both Ms. Feliciano and Ms. Anne have worked at many jobs before coming to the
Bandelier library, including welfare worker, ambulance driver, concierge, and
teacher.
Ms.Feliciano grew up in southern Poland, and has lived in New Mexico since
1995. Ms. Anne grew up in Vietnam, and has lived in Pennsylvania and Latin
America.
