Parents-Please don't forget to initial or sign your child's agenda each night when s/he finishes the
homework assignments.
Read every night for a minimum of 30 minutes; write the title(s) that you read
in your agenda
Write 3-5 sentences about you read.
Spelling assignments every week include:
Monday-write each missed spelling word 4 times. Say the letters out loud as you write the word.
Tuesday-write a sentence with each missed spelling word. Be sure to use a capital letter at the
beginning of your sentence and some sort of punctuation to show the end of your sentence.
Wednesday-write the missed words in alphabetical order
Thursday-practice for the test tomorrow!
Students in my class for math will also have assigned a math Homelink that they need to do every
night. This will be work that we will have covered in class so your child should know how to do it. They
may need some assistance and you should check that they do it every night.
