*****Behavior System *****
!!!!!Group Smileys!!!!!
Earn smileys for working quietly, and respectfully as a small
group, and for taking care of their group area. Small groups will change
once a month.
Groups who earn five smileys a day (four on Fridays) are rewarded with
stickers!
!!!!! Individual Color Strips!!!!!!
These will be pulled for breaking the classroom rules.
Green = Perfect behavior
Yellow = warning and move away from the area causing problem
Orange = lose 10 minutes of recess and fill out reflection form
Red = lose 15 minutes of recess and fill out reflection form
Black = detention and call parents
Every day the students will chart their behavior on a monthly calendar
that will be fastened inside their red, Take-Home folder. Students will
color each date to correspond with the color of strip they have earned that
day.
*****Whole Group Behavior Goals*****
We also are working fill up a jar with beans as a reward for good classroom
behavior by the group. When we fill this up we will earn a reward such as
popcorn and movie in the classroom or ice cream and games. The class will
decide the event.
