About The Teacher
Hello to you all! This is my third year at Bandelier but my ninth year teaching. I taught Kindergarten for three years and Second Grade for six. I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Master's Degree in Education. I am also a Tier 3 teacher with an endorsement in TESOL. (Teaching English as a Second Language) I have been teaching in the Highland Cluster most of my career. I have also taught numerous intervention programs as a summer school teacher the last eight summers. I love the Bandelier Community and look forward to becoming a bigger part of it!

Mission
Our Class Mission: All students will be given the opportunity to learn capitalizing upon their strengths. All students will work together to ensure that each and every member of our classroom's community feels respected, safe, successful, and challenged. Both the parents and teacher will give the students the tools the students need to be successful as we encourage the children to become lifelong learners. The class will read nightly and practice their skills in order that they learn how to be successful in school, to be successful members of the community, and to ensure that this success follows them into the future.
