Homework Packets are sent home every Friday and are due the following Friday
(or the final day of the week if it is a short week). These packets consist of
review material covered the previous week. Homework is not graded for
accuracy but instead is checked for completion as well as used to guide our
instruction through allowing us to monitor student comprehension of concepts
and identify when a particular topic requires more instruction. No
replacement packets are given if a homework packet is lost. The homework
policy is such:
FULL CREDIT = Complete homework packet returned early or on time*
1/2 CREDIT = Complete homework packet returned up to one week late
NO CREDIT = Incomplete/no homework packet returned more than one week late
*If a student is absent on the day the homework packet is due, it must be
turned in on the day they return to school in order to be considered returned
on time. There are no exceptions unless prior arrangements have been made.
