ACTIVITY FEE: It's that time of the year again... over the course of the school year we ask for an activity fee two times a year. The first being in August when kids start school and the second in January. Just a reminder of the things we used the money for the first semester: field trip shirts and entrance fees (Shady Lakes, McCall's pumpkin patch, Nutcracker on the Rocks, Explora) and few supplies for our classroom projects (Holiday globes, snowmen, and cooking). We ask for the fee so that we do not nickel and dime you all through the year. Please make checks payable to Bandelier Elementary.
PERSONAL INFORMATION: We will be working on our "personal information". This information includes full name, address, phone number and birthday. Please let me know if there have been any changes in address or phone numbers. Kids with two homes please let me know the main number and address you would like your child to work on at school. Also, in this process we will begin calling the kids by their last names, they will call us by ours and we will be writing last names on our work.
SAVE THAT RIBBON: Collis' Grandma has been working with the kids on various art projects with emphasis on recycled or reused items. For our next project she has requested that kids bring in ribbon from gifts opened this holiday season. Please do not send in new or unused ribbons. Thank you so much!

PARENT/STUDENT CONTACT LIST: Playdates, birthday parties, sleepovers!?!!? Need to know how to get in contact with a student/family? Take a look on the Snack calendar page and you will find the parent/student contact list. You might want to take the time to check it out and make sure the info is correct for your family/child. If it is not please send me an email with the correction and I will make the change/s. I will keep this posted all year long so you may refer to it if you want to set something up for your kiddo.
