6th Grade Play Assignment—Due November 9th! This assignment must be spell checked and typed in 12 point font Times New Roman 1. Cast - 18 characters (no lead roles as everyone should be a star) with brief descriptions – 2 lines each (18 points) 2. Setting/Location/s – Describe where and when your play takes place. – 5 sentences (5 points) 3. Type an outline for your play: a) Introduction (beginning) 1 paragraph (5 points) b) Development (middle) 1 paragraph (5 points) c) Conclusion (what happens in the end) 1 paragraph (5 points) NOTE: A paragraph should be at least 5 sentences! 4. Presentation: Each student will present their idea for a play to the class. Each student will vote for play other than their own. Titles will be drawn from a hat. (12 points). Just to let you know for future reference .... Please note that if the class votes on your play, it is subject to change e.g. the class will possibly need to change the title, a character or part of the plot in your play. Nevertheless, you should be proud because the play will be based on an idea created by you and as such, this will be noted in the program. Once we have decided on a play, we will work in groups during class to create scenes to develop the plot of the play. As the scenes are being created, we will visit the library to type up our scenes. Eventually we will have created our acts and scenes for our play. As the play progresses you will also each need to write a one minute monologue for our characters which will be due before the completion of the play.
Or, would you like to view and optionally restore one of these previous versions?
