ADVANCED BIOLOGY 2009 - 2010: (You may have to scroll down for most recent assignment!!!!)

• For Thursday, 5 November: Read sections 8.1 - 8.4 in your textbook and complete the lab activity analysis questions.
• The data for the activity are posted under "Handouts, Worksheets, ...."
• The data are in an Excel spreadsheet.
• You are responsible for calculating the class averages and then doing the graphs and answering the other questions on the worksheet.
• Use Excel to create your graphs! Come see me if you need help producing graphs on Excel.
• For Monday, 9 November: Finish Reading Chapter 8 and read the Enzyme Catalysis lab handed out in class on Thursday. Answer this trivia question for 2 pts extra credit on the next quiz: What animal has the largest eye?
• For Wednesday, 11 November:
• Graph your data from the lab in Excel or on the axes provided in the lab handout.  Your graph should be complete!  Make sure you label your axes annd give a descriptive title to the graph, among other things.
• Answer questions 1 - 6 in the analysis questions at the end of the lab.  Do your answers on a separate piece of paper.  Please do not cram your answers into the small space provided in the lab!!!
