Joanna Carlson Hart grew up in Minnewaukan, North Dakota (pop. 401). Ms. Hart
attended Concordia College in Moorehead, MN where she sang with the Concordia
Choir and studied under the renowned Dr. Rene Clausen. Ms. Hart obtained a
Master of Music degree from the University of New Mexico where she studied
vocal performance with Leslie Umphrey. Since then, Ms. Hart has sung with
several regional opera companies and symphonies and just recently got into
teaching. When not performing, teaching or practicing, Ms. Hart can be found
spending time with her family.
