Kim has a B.S. in Biology from Alma College in Michigan and an M.S. in
Marine Biology from James Cook University in Queensland, Australia. She has
been involved in environmental education since 2001 and worked with a
variety of education programs in the U.S. and Caribbean. Her experience
spans from nature centers to aquariums, an ecological institute, and several
residential school programs. She will be serving as the BEMP educational
representative, working in the field and classroom with students and
teachers, cultivating BEMP curriculum, assisting with the UNM intern class
and supporting wildlife research projects.
