8th grade:
None
Work turned in late is credited up to 50% and due no later than the
next class day in class. Beyond that it is a zero. Extra credit can help
lift that but only so much and cannot replace that what should have been
turned in in the first place.
NOTE: Students are responsible for the content and worked missed if absent
from class. Homework need not be turned in on a class day, but can be turned
in prior as we only meet twice a week. For example, a student who has gym
Tuesday and Friday and has homework due Tuesday but misses class should turn
in work Wednesday rather than go the rest of the week and possibly miss
turning in the homework on Friday. Student are responsible for content in
the Fitness for Life text as well. Although they are not assigned a book
they can review the material viz the website link provided through my web
site.
