I am starting my ninth year of teaching at Double Eagle. Teaching is my
second career and it is my favorite profession by far! This will be
my fourth year teaching fifth grade. I love teaching students at this age--
they are entering a new stage of maturity and learning that makes my job so
enjoyable.
I am involved in a three year Teaching American History Grant which
inspires me to bring history to life for students. I also have a passion for
great literature and I love to write!
I am married and I have two boys aged 20 and 22. In addition to teaching
I love to read and cook and spend time with my family and friends.
I am looking forward to a great year with you and your family.
Our mission is to build a safe and supportive environment which will support
the student's curiosty about the world and will encourage students to think
and express their ideas confidently.
