Homework is sent home every Friday in the student's Friday Folder. They
consist of a four night reading log, spelling activities, grammar exercises,
and on occasion math practice. These homework packets are due the following
Friday morning.

Everyday Math homework is nightly work that only comes home once the lesson
has been taught in class.  This is due the next day.  If Everyday Math
homework is sent home on Friday it is due on Monday.

Policy:

Friday Homework Packet-
In the event that the Friday homework packet is incomplete or not turned in
the student will miss recess all day that Friday.  The homework packet must
come back on the Monday after.

Everyday Math Homework-
The students are required to return their nightly Everyday Math homework the next day.  Each child has a homework log that is specific for these nightly assignments.  When they come into class each morning they check in their
homework.  After they have missed three nightly homeworks they miss a week of recess.  If the homework is not turned in the day it is due it must come back the next day.  The day they turn the assignment in is also documented.
