Please note that Research Paper instructions have been sent home with all students in late January and I have also sent home notes to parents letting you know what I am looking for on the research paper which is again listed below. To all Parents and Guardians of my Social Studies Students: February 2, 2012 I wanted to let you all know that I assigned a research paper for each student to do on a famous person or place in Social Studies depending if your student has World History 6th grade, New Mexico History 7th grade, or American History 8th grade. They each have two salmon-peach colored papers that they should have brought home so they can begin their research. They need to use at least 2 different types of research materials: books, encyclopedia, internet or magazines to complete their paper. They have instructions on how to write references for their items as well. I asked for at least 3 photos as well. Each research paper should have: Title Page with just their name, date and title of what they are researching, Introduction Page of about one paragraph; Part I about 2 pages, Part 2 about 2 pages, At least 3 photos and a Reference Page. Each project is due either February 16th for A day students or February 17th for B day students. Thank You, Julie S Rolston 897-0101 ext 22084
