Welcome back to the 2009-2010 school year!
This year we will have a wonderful time learning, exploring, and questioning
together.
There are two advisory days this month. 10/7/09 and 10/28/09. Please
contact your student's advisory teacher for Parent Teacher Conference
information.
The JMMS Drama program will be taking our first field trip on 11/2 to see "As
You Like It" at Popejoy Hall. If you are interested in chaperoning the trip
please call or e-mail me asap.

I will be selling yearbooks on campus on October 22nd and 26th. The cost for
purchase at school is $35 cash. However, you can order your student's book
online for $30 at www.jamesmonroe.aps.edu.
My Language Arts/Literature classes are beginning to read The Hunger Games by
Suzanne Collins this week. If you have any questions about the book please
