This page is used as a weekly newsletter. It is updated at the beginning of
each week. You will be informed of academic studies and anything important
that is upcoming. This is an important page to check on a weekly basis.
This summer students should be reading everyday for at least 30 minutes.
It is also important for students to continue writing throughout the
summer. Keeping a journal is a fun way to keep kids writing.
Finally, students should practice their multiplication facts 0-12, having
these facts memorized is very important in being successful for 5th grade.

Spelling: Students need to study their words for 5 minutes a day. Students
may not see their words for a couple of weeks, that is why it is important
to review their word list for a couple of minutes each day. Each student
has their own spelling tablet with their own spelling lists.
Math:
Science:
Social Studies: Anne and I switch classes every 9 weeks. I teach her
students science as well as my students and she teaches my students social
studies.
