I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I attended Longfellow
Elementary, Immanuel Lutheran and Taylor Middle School, I graduated from
Cibola High School in 1995, and received my Bachelors in Elementary
Education from the University of New Mexico in May of 2000.
Teaching Experience:
I have been teaching for 8 years. My first 3 years of teaching I was a
science and math teacher for 6th graders at Washington Middle School. I
have taught 4 years of fifth grade and 1 year of 3rd grade at Monte Vista
Elementary.
Family:
I am married with 2 children and 3 dogs. I have a daughter who is 10 years
old and son who is 7 years old. We own a home in the North Valley in the
Village of Los Ranchos, only a few minutes from where I grew up. I enjoy
snowboarding and black and white photography. (when I have the time)
Every child has the right to an education yet has the responsibility to
learn!
