Ms. Downey Grade 3

Welcome to our third grade literacy class!!   I have HUGE expectations for this fabulous class!  Right now we are working on learning the rules and rituals of the Reader's and Writer's Workshops.  This gives students a sense of the way the 60 minutes of reading and writing will go each class period.  I have to say that a majority of these students are strong readers.  Writing is another story and I will be working hard on this all year.

We have a field trip coming up to the planetarium.  We will be reading about space and doing reports as well.
