Snazzy snacks

 This year our class will be doing Literature Celebrations based upon favorite stories we have read and done activities around. Twice a month I will have my students copy a recipe and make a “Snazzy Snack” in honor of the book we have studied.

Here are some examples:

Frog Floats in celebration of the

Frog and Toad books.

Johnny Appleseed Apple Sauce in celebration of the books we read about John Chapman.

Little Mouse Milk and Cookies in celebration of the books by Kevin Henkes.

Purple Cow Floats in celebration of

Click Clack Moo, Cows That Type.

Cheesy Spider Web in celebration of

Charlotte’s Web.

And many more...
