Next Monday your child should turn in their President
Poster with facts about the America president they picked. Part of this
assignment is once they have brought their poster to school they should be
prepared to share the informationn they researched with the rest of the
class.
This week's homework besides the nightly Reading
Log is for your child to read a "fiction" book then pick out the main
character and create a diaroma, poster etc...or some other creative way to
represent the character from the book--this project is due Friday at which
time each students will present their project in class.
This week's homework packet is not due until
next Tuesday November 25th. The reason for this being this week and next
week are short weeks.
9-24-08 This week's homework includes a Reading Log,

Log,
Everyday Math sheets, and a Fundations packet which includes some

This week's homework is the the Everyday Math sheets and
the Reading Log sent home on Monday, it is due back Friday morning.
This year's Monthly Writing Calendars have been
updated. If your child finishes their homework early in the week--have them
pick writing ideas from the present month's calendar, write about it and
then turn it in for extra credit.
Your child needs to bring their Agenda and Homework
Folder to school everyday.
This week I sent two Reference Packets home one
is for Fundations and the other is the first "Family Letter" connected to
our Everyday Math program. Please keep these at home for future reference. I
also sent a Reading Record--this is a nightly reading form please have your
child read for 15 minutes a day and then write the titles of the books read.
This sheet is due on Friday Morning.
Your child's homework this week is to return the items
in their "Me Bag" so they can present information about themselves to the
the rest of the class. Your child will need to keep the items in class for
the next week so please do not sent items that need to be returned home the
same day.
